The lowdown
Vermont's northernmost brewery, a farm brewery on a hillside in Newport Town founded by Brian and Jenn Cook in 2011. The taproom pours about a dozen taps - from Round Barn Red to the Out of Bounds double IPA and seasonal brews made with the farm's own maple sap, spruce tips and berries. Weekend live music, a kid- and dog-friendly lawn and, in summer, visiting food trucks make it a local hangout.
