The lowdown
A downtown Newport neighborhood bar that changed hands in late 2025, when four new owners took over with plans for live bands, DJs, karaoke, trivia, pool tournaments and comedy nights. A long-standing tradition: Lake Memphremagog marathon swimmers sign the ceiling over the bar. Food is bar-snack level; chef Frank Richardi was reported returning to the kitchen.
