Miso Hungry
Jay, Vermont $$
The lowdown
Chef Momo's ramen stand served out of a retired Jay Peak tram car at the Tramside base, with miso, spicy miso and sesame shoyu bowls built on bone broth and Vermont ingredients. A sister outlet, Miso toh Kome, sells onigiri at Stateside. Part of a small Vermont ski-area ramen operation.

What people say
The word around town.
Consistently rated the best quick lunch on the mountain: rich broth, generous bowls, fast service and fire pits to eat beside. Some note it is pricier than typical slopeside food.
