The lowdown
A long-running, family-owned waterfront landmark on Lake Memphremagog, now part of the Gray's Landing hospitality property alongside Le Belvedere and Tavern on the Hill. The nautical dining room, lakeside decks and bars cover everything from weekend breakfasts and a Sunday brunch buffet to prime rib, steaks and fried seafood baskets. It is the default 'take the family out by the lake' spot in Newport.
