Anthony's Diner
St. Johnsbury, Vermont $
The lowdown
A long-running, old-school diner at the foot of Railroad Street near the junction of Routes 2 and 5, and probably the most-reviewed eatery in town. It serves all-day breakfast, burgers, hot turkey dinners and homestyle plates, with house-made pies for dessert. A practical stop for travelers coming off I-91 as well as a local breakfast fixture.
